Hi, my name is Mira

Welcome to my site!

My name is Mira, I am a soon-to-be Political Science and Science Communication Graduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Being raised in Humboldt County, CA by two scientists and spending the last four years in Santa Barbara has inspired my dedication to protecting the natural world through public service.

I am passionate about incorporating scientific literacy into the law and politics. I love to write, consistently having challenged myself throughout my time at UCSB to bring in environmental topics to my International Relations coursework. 

Outside of the classroom, I am a yoga teacher and love spending time outdoors, feel free to explore my work and connect!
